J. W. McCoy, 85, Former Resident, Dies at Baxter
Funeral services for J. W. McCoy, 85, former Newton resident who died Thursday at Dexter, will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o’clock at the Dexter Methodist church.
Mr. McCoy at one time worked for the Maytag Co. He moved from here about 12 years ago. Burial will be at Dexter.
Survivors are his widow; three sons, W. P. McCoy of 1003 North Sixth avenue West in Newton, Wayne of Mitchellville and Lewis of Des Moines, and one daughter, Mrs. Edwin Rohr of Earlham.
