Leslie Hill, 61, Dies, Kellogg Rites Thursday
Leslie (Teck) Hill, 61, of Grinnell, died yesterday morning at Community hospital, Grinnell, from a malignancy. Funeral services will be at two o’clock Thursday at the Christian church in Kellogg.
Mr. Hill made his home in Kellogg for many years before moving to Grinnell.
Besides his immediate family he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Balmer of Newton and Mrs. S. C. Smith of Kellogg.

Final Rites Held At Kellogg Church For Leslie L. Hill
Kellogg (Special) – Funeral services were held yesterday for Leslie Leon “Teck” Hill, 62, former Kellogg resident who died Sunday at Community hospital in Grinnell. He lived in Grinnell since moving from Kellogg.
Rites were held at the Kellogg Christian church with Rev. W. F. Overhulser in charge. Burial was in Our Silent City cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, W. C. Parmley, Gerald Phipps, Dr. C. V. Hill, Everett Balmer, Lafe Eubank and Noland Eubank.
Mr. Hill was born on a farm south of Kellogg on July 3, 1899, the son of Joshua and Elizabeth Stanley Hill. On Jan. 31, 1921, he was married to Fannye L. Blythe.
Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine McNaughton of Ypsilante, Mich.; one son, J. Max Hill of Grinnell; one grandson, and two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Balmer of Newton and Mrs. I. S. Smith of Kellogg.
