Son of Newton Residents Dies
Lloyd Milton Harness is Victim of Heart Trouble; No Funeral Arrangements Made
Lloyd Milton Harness, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harness, died this morning at 10 o’clock after a week’s illness from leakage of the heart, resulting from measles and a complication of other diseases which he suffered several months ago.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed but the body will be taken to Armstrong, Ia., the old home of the family, for burial.
The family came to Newton about a year ago and located at their home on East Tenth street North. The father has since then been employed at the Maytag factory.
Besides his parents, the child is survived by two sisters. Marcella, five years old, and Betty Jean, two years of age. He is also survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Maron of Estherville, Ia., and Mr. and Mr. Sam Harness of Mt. Sterling, Ia.
