Leonard Harris Graveside Rites
Leonard Harris, 66, a longtime resident of Colfax, died Saturday, May 14, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Knoxville.
Graveside rites were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, at the Colfax Cemetery.
The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax, conducted services.
Walters-Coburn Funeral Home of Colfax handled arrangements.
Survivors are a sister, Nellie Harris of Runnells; and a brother, Tom Harris of Runnells.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, the former Helen Stewart.
Mr. Harris, an Army veteran of World War II, was a Maytag Co. retiree.
The son of Hulbert and Mary Smulan Harris, he was born March 29, 1922 in Hillhead, S.D.
