Services Held
Brooke Louise Goodyk, three-month and 17 day-old daughter of Corey Lee and Sasha Louise Goodyk of Reasnor, died Tuesday, July 27, 1993, at the Grinnell General Hospital.
Services were held July 30, 1993, at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, west of Sully.
The Rev. Robert Waters, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Memorials to the national SIDS Foundation will be accepted.
Also surviving are a brother, Justin Michael, 3 ½, her grandparents, Algonda Ten Hagen Verhey of Galesburg and Abraham Verhey of Grinnell, Sharon Palmer and Rod Zylstra of Pella, and Darrell and B. J. Hurst Goodyk of Pella; her great-grandparents, Robert and Viola Ten Hagen of Galesburg, Peter and Metjie Verhey of Pella, Esther Goodyk of Pella and Eva Palmer of Osceola; and a great-great-grandmother, Ruth Sutton of Pella.
The child was born April 10- in the Pella Community Hospital.
