Services Held
Graveside services were held Monday, August 19, 1996, at the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa for Connor Edward Gilliland, infant son of Jeffery and Cathleen Altemeier Gilliland, who was stillborn Friday, August 16, 1996, at the Mahaska County hospital in Oskaloosa.
Connor is survived by his parents, Jeff and Cathy; a brother, Jeremy Koppin, and a sister, Nikki Koppin. Also surviving are his grandparents, Judy and Don Parks of Rose Hill and Marlene and Dwane Altemeier of Newton, his paternal great grandfather Edward Traut of Ottumwa, and his maternal great grandmother, Beulah Altemeier of Grinnell; and aunts and uncles.
The Rev. J. C. Herbert officiated the services. Casket bearers were Jeff Greenhalgh and Dennis Nolin.
