George Garland Passed Away Wed.
George Emmett Garland, 73, a long-time resident of Monroe, died at his home in Monroe Wednesday morning.
A rosary will be recited at Crumpacker funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sacred heart Catholic church in Newton.
Among Mr. Garland’s survivors are his wife and two sons, Conrad and Marvin, all of Monroe.
Mr. Garland was born September 8, 1885, in Greene county.
