Rites For Frank Bean Held Friday
Well Known Reasnor Resident Passed Away at Skiff Hospital Saturday – Born and Raised in County
Funeral services were held at Reasnor, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock for Frank Bean, who died Saturday at the Skiff Memorial hospital in Newton, following an illness of two days.
The services were in charge of Rev. H. U. Smith, pastor of the Reasnor Methodist Episcopal church. Interment was made in the Palo Alto cemetery.
Deceased was born on a farm, north of Reasnor and was 62 years of age at the time of his death. He has lived in Jasper county all of his life with the exception of two years spent in the west.
He was united in marriage to Miss Rebecca Laird, of Reasnor. He is survived by the widow, three children, Mrs. Mardell Hooper of Newton, Mrs. Alta Bickle, Sully and one son, Lester Bean of Newton, Mrs. Cora Shipley of Colfax, a niece.
