Garrett Carrier Dead
Yesterday morning at 5 o'clock occured the death of a well known citizen of this city, Garrett Carrier.
He was fifty years, three months and eighteen days old at the time of his death.
Mr. Carrier had for many years been a barber in this city and had been known as one of the best ever operating a shop here. Garrett Carrier was a good hearted man and had some admirable traits of character.
The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon at the late residence on south Market at 2:00 o'clock , Rev. John Ferguson havin charge of the services. ~ The Newton Daily Herald, Newton, Iowa, March 23, 1903.
