Anna Anderson, 82, of Baxter died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Baxter Health Care Center there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery in Baxter.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Wallington, N.J., and had lived there and in Collins before moving to Baxter 35 years ago. She was a retired cook for Baxter Health Care Center.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Barrickman of Melbourne; a son, Michael of Grinnell; a brother, Joseph Gaydos of Clifton, N.J.; a sister, Mary Anderson of Marshalltown; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George (and a daughter, Emily Spearing.)
