Last night Mrs. S. Earp died after a long illness at 8 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. Butin, four miles from Reasnor. Her daughter, Mrs. N. J. Clark of Mingo passed through this city today enroute to Reasnor to attend the funeral, which will be held tomorrow. ~ The Newton Daily News, Wednesday, September 13, 1905, Page 1, Column 3
