Former County Resident Dies in Des Moines

Clear Creek – Mrs. Fred Graef, 67, former Jasper county resident, died Sunday of a heart attack at her home, 1067 Twentieth street, Des Moines.
Funeral services were held at the Carl E. White funeral home Tuesday and interment was in the Glendale cemetery at Des Moines.
Mrs. Graef was Elizabeth Dodd before her marriage, the daughter of the late William and Melinda Baker Dodd. She spent her life here and at Collins until moving to Des Moines recently.
Surviving are a son, Hugh Graef of Waterloo; a daughter, Mrs. Maude Koon, who lived with her; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Tiffany of Colfax and Mrs. Walter Jeffries of Minnesota and three brothers, Joe, Roy and Orrin Dodd.
