Word has been received here that a man by the name of J. S. Hadley, residing in Jasper County and near the Poweshiek County lines, had committed suicide by hanging. Coroner Talbott, of Grinnell, viewed the case, but decided there was no need of an inquest, the facts in the case being so apparent.
