Mrs. ANNA RAMER

Mrs. Anna Ramer, daughter of Peter and Catherine Lust, was born August 22, 1866 near Tool's Chapel neighborhood, east of Monroe, Iowa, and passed away October 9, 1956, after a short illness, at the Hillside Nursing Home, Colfax, where she had been a patient since February of this year.

On August 15, 1886, she was united in marriage to William Ramer, and she and her husband farmed near Galesburg. To this union were born six children, James S. and Clifford preceding her in death. Surviving are Mrs. Ella Dearinger of Galesburg, Mrs. Nellie Poortinga of Newton, Mrs. Ada Ahrens of Rhodes, Iowa, and Dewey Ramer of Galles-burg. Twelve great-grandchildren, eight grandchildren, and One great, great grandchild mourn her passing.

Mrs. Ramer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters. and three brothers. She was a former member of the Tool's Chapel Methodist Church, later transferring to the Galesburg Methodist Church, where she attended regularly until failing health made her a shut in.

Funeral services were held At the Garden Chapel Funeral Home, prior to the church services at Galesburg Christian Church. The Rev. Donald Wooge of. Reanor officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Harold Schnug, Charles Awtry, Lewis Groves, Clyde Rawlins, Allen Krom and Harry Zickel. Comforting music was furnished by Mrs. Vernice Kling, Mrs. Florence Butin and John Wan Wyngarden, accompanied by Mrs. Harold Schnug. Attending the floral tributes were Mrs. Grace Kroh, and Mrs. Ruby Awtry.
