Clement Decker, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Decker was born in Choctaw county, Mississippi, July 23rd, 1894, and died at the home of his parents three miles east of Colfax on March 13, 1916, age 21 years, 7 months and 20 days. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents, three brothers and four sisters, all of whom were present at the time of his death. Clement had never been strong and had been a cripple since he was 4 years of age. At the age of 16, he united with the Baptist church and died as he had lived, trusting in God.
