MINGO – Mrs. James (Juanita) Woodyard, 68, of Mingo died this morning at the Des Moines General Hospital.
Wallace Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements which have not been completed.

Juanita Woodyard Services Friday; Dies Wednesday
MINGO – Funeral services for Mrs. James (Juanita) Woodyard, 68, a resident of Mingo since 1955, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Mingo United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Charles Leurs, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Garden at Des Moines.
Friends may call at the Wallace Funeral Home in Newton after 5 p.m. today.
She died Wednesday morning at the Des Moines General Hospital.
Survivors are two sons, Jeffrey R. Woodyard and Philip W. Woodyard, both of Mingo; her mother, Mrs. Mary Etta Watson of Des Moines; two brothers, Martin Watson of Des Moines and Jesse Watson of Santa Clara, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Joan Snyder of Des Moines.
Also surviving are three grandchildren and a step-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband in 1966, brother, Sharon Watson, a sister, Ruby Watson, and a step-son, James Edward Woodyard.
Mrs. Woodyard was a member of the Mingo Women’s Auxiliary.
The daughter of Lacy and Mary Etta Watson, she was born July 14, 1913 in Blue Summit, Mo.
She was married Oct. 5, 1935 in Platte City, Mo.
