CROUSLAND

Mr. Wm. Crousland died in Baxter last Friday and the remains were brought to Newton cemetery for burial, Sunday afternoon. The Mason lodge of Baxter had charge of the funeral. White Pine Camp No. 182, M.W. of A. of Newton went in a body to the cemetery and acted as an escort. Mr. Crousland had very thoughtfully provided for his five orphan children, by taking out a $2,000 policy in the Modern Woodmen of America. Mr. Crousland was formerly a citizen of Newton, and was known by many of our citizens. His death was not unexpected as he has been in poor health for some time past.
