Death of a Young Mother
Mrs. Annette Tripp, wife of Mr. Jesse Tripp, died at the home of G. M. Tripp in Colfax Sunday night, May 7th, 1900. Mrs. Tripp was the youngest daughter of Mr. Jarvis Stillings and wife, of Sand Hill. She was a Jasper County girl, being born and raised in the vicinity of Colfax. She was married March 29, 1899 to Jesse Tripp. She leaves a baby two weeks old, a husband and numerous relatives and friends.
The funeral was held in the Christian church in Colfax, on Tuesday afternoon.
