Florence A. Rorabaugh Services Held June 15

Funeral services for Florence A. White Rorabaugh, 73, of Rt. 3, Box 402, Newton, a longtime resident of Jasper County, were held Monday, June 15, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

The Rev. John Moorlach, pastor of the Reasnor United Methodist Church, conducted services. Burial was in Rorabaugh Cemetery near Colfax.

Memorials to the Reasnor United Methodist Church will be accepted.

Mrs. Rorabaugh died Friday, June 12, of cancer at the Des Moines General Hospital.

Survivors are her husband, Wayne; and two brothers, Audas White of Independence, Ore., and Dean White of Millerton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Frances Nolan in 1980. Mrs. Rorabaugh attended the Colfax United Methodist Church.

She as employed at the Parsons Co. for 39 years, at the Newton Manufacturing Co. for nine years and , until her retirement, at the Newton Building Center for two years.

The daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Kephart White, she was born March 2, 1919 at Hiteman and was a 1937 graduate of Newton Community High School.

She was married to Wayne Rorabaugh on April 10, 1942 in Newton.

She had resided in Colfax, Newton and Reasnor. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Colfax, Iowa Thurs 18 June 1992.
