Services Held
Gilbert “Gyp” Wolf, 75 of Montezuma, a former resident of Monroe, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1988 at his home.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma.
The Rev. John Darlington, pastor of the Montezuma United Methodist Church conducted services. Burial was in the Goldenrod Cemetery in Deep River.
Survivors are his wife, Maxine, two sons, Ken of Shelby, Mont., and Newell of Newton and several grandchildren.
Mr. Wolf had been employed at the Monroe Community High School for 14 years.
The son of Ben and Sarah Wolf, he was born Oct. 3, 1911 in Deep River and was educated in Deep River.
He was married Sept. 26, 1932 in Lancaster, Mo.
