Services to be Held
Mrs. Wendell B. (Eliene “Tillie”) Husted Wisecarver, 71, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 1987 at St. Raphael’s Hospital in New Haven, Conn.
Funeral services will be held at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe, Thursday, July 2, 1987 with Rev. Larry Lenning, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church of Pella officiating. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Eliene “Tillie” Husted Wisecarver was born on June 3, 1916 at Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Hoyt L. and Mabelle Gill Husted. She was united in marriage to Wendell B. Wisecarver on October 15, 1938 in Des Moines.
Survivors are her husband Wendell, mother Mabelle Husted Smith of Pella, sons – Ronald of Peoria, Ill.; Dean of Pickerington, Ohio; daughters – Linda Jeynes of Hollis, New Hampshire, Nancy Stinski of Champlin, Minn.; and Wendy Cunningham of Burlington, Conn. Also seven granddaughters and four grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, Carl Smith, aunt Emma Husted Sweeney and a brother Hoyt.
