Services to be Held
Services for Mildred W. Winegar will be held Thursday, April 4, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. at Prairie City Christian Reformed Church. Rev. Adrian Eising and Rev. Sheldon Starkenburg will officiate the services. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Mildred passed away Monday, April 1, 2002, at Pella Regional Health Center of a heart ailment.
Born the daughter of Simon and Alice Van Zee Van Dusseldorp, Mildred was born January 20, 1916, in Monroe. She lived in Pella the last 6 months. Previous to that, she had lived in Prairie City since 1952 and had lived in Mitchellville for 8 years before that. Mildred married Kenneth W. Winegar May 6, 1936, in Prairie City. She belonged to the Prairie City Christian Reformed Church and was a 4-H leader. Mildred was a homemaker.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Karla Winegar of Sully and Marvin and Marla Winegar of Altoona, 4 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, 1 sister, 2 infant brothers, and 1 infant sister.
