Services Held
Floyd D. Wilson, 83 of Monroe died Monday, Dec. 26, 1988 at the Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 29, 1988 at the Monroe United Methodist Church. Rev. Jerry McGee conducted services. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Survivors are his wife, Belva; a daughter, June (Mrs. John) LeGrand; two grandchildren; a great grandchild; and a brother, Forrest Wilson of Prairie City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jack, and two sisters.
The son of David Clyde and Mary Elizabeth Johnston Wilson, he was born Oct. 18, 1905 in Jasper County.
He was married to Belva Martin, Dec. 22, 1926 at Runnells.
