Services Held
Funeral services for Belva Martin Wilson, 84, a longtime resident of Monroe, were held April 15, 1991, at the Monroe United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Jerry McGee, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. Wilson died Friday at the Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Survivors are a daughter, June (Mrs. John) LeGrand of Monroe, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Jack, and a brother, Keith Martin.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the PEO, the Order of Eastern Star and the Monroe Women’s Club.
The daughter of Charles and Clara Oswalt Martin, she was born Sept. 22, 1906 in Runnells and was a 1924 graduate of Runnells High School.
She was married to Floyd D. Wilson Dec. 22, 1926 at Runnells.
