Services Held
Funeral services for Cory D. Whittlesey, 11 month old son of David F. and Kathy Van Essen Whittlesey of Newton were held April 27, 992 at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
The Rev. Douglas Reynolds, pastor of the Wittemberg United Church of Christ, north of Newton, conducted services. Burial was in Babyland of Newton Union Cemetery.
He died Friday, April 24, 1992 at Skiff Medical Center.
Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Doyle and Beverly Van Essen of Prairie City, his paternal grandparents, Rolland and Fern H. Whittlesey of Newton; his great grandfather, Bud Thomas of Scranton; two brothers, Tony Bishop of Prairie City and Eddie Whittlesey of Newton; and two sisters, Holly Whittlesey and Heather Whittlesey, both of Newton.
He was born May 13, 1991 in Knoxville.
