Life Story of Mildred Wheatcraft
Mrs. Mildred Wheatcraft, 71, of Phoenix, Ariz., a former resident of Newton and the Monroe area, died Tuesday in Phoenix.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wheatcraft were held Friday in Morgan-Loehr Funeral Home in Newton.
The Rev. Raymond Moore, minister of the Killduff Methodist Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harlan Marshall, Larry Marshall, Larry Wheatcraft, Ray Gaylor, Ed Scoville and Ralph Agar.
Mrs. Wheatcraft died Tuesday in the home of her daughter in Phoenix, Ariz.
Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Edith Hemer of Phoenix; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ena DePenning of Newton and Mrs. Corabele Agar of Colfax.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband July 11, 1955.
The daughter of Thomas and Jane Price Earp, she was born March 27, 1897 at Galesburg and was educated in Jasper County schools.
She was married to Clark Wheatcraft October 19, 1917 at Reasnor.
