Life Story of Wilma Waters
Wilma Irene Waters, 69, of Prairie City died Sunday at the Des Moines General Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.
The Rev. B. D. Hindegardner, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, south of Prairie City, conducted services. Burial is in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Ronnie (Linda) Kain of Runnells; five grandchildren; a brother, Forrest Jarnagin of Newton; and a sister, Fern Johnston of Loma Linda, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
The daughter of George and Anna Carnahan Jarnagin, she was born March 26, 1910, at Prairie City and was graduated from Prairie City High School.
