Services Held
Services for Kenneth Warrick of Colfax were held Tuesday at the Howard Street Christian Church. Rev. Tom Burns officiated the services. Burial was in Colfax Cemetery. He passed away Friday, September 29, 2000 at home.
Kenneth was the son of Thomas S. and Mary Jane Sage Warrick and was born August 3, 1921, in Colfax. He graduated from Newton High School in 1938. He had been a lifelong resident of Jasper County having lived in Colfax, Newton and Monroe.
Kenneth was a member of the Howard Street Christian Church, Colfax Country Club, Sand Hill Grange, 4-H organizations, Fair Board, Farm Bureau, Newton Booster Club, Colfax-Mingo Booster Club, Beef Producers, and Angus Cattle producers. He was a farmer for 40 years and worked at the Monroe Table Co. for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife, Iris; three sons, Larry and wife Brenda of Livonia, Missouri, Dave and wife Sue Warrick of Monroe, and Jack Warrick of Colfax; two daughters, Karol Neal of Collins, and Jodi and husband Sean Callahan of Colfax; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Sam Warrick of Colfax.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
