Services for Florence Warrick were held Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at the United Methodist Church in Monroe. Rev. Karen Merrill, pastor, officiated the services. Interment was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Florence Warrick, age 80, passed away at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines on Friday, June 2, 2000.
She was born in Monroe, July 8, 1919, the daughter of John and Emma Eggert Wagner. A 1936 graduate of Monroe High School, she was united in marriage to Ernest Warrick at Monroe, June 19, 1940. Mrs. Warrick was a member of the Monroe United Methodist Church. A memorial for the church in her memory has been suggested by the family.
Mrs. Warrick is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald and Judy of Gowrie, Robert and Noralee of Prairie City and John and Shelly of Bondurant. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death May 2, 1992. Also preceding her were her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
