The body of John Walker was brought here for burial, Tuesday in, “Our Silent City”. Mr. Walker passed away at the Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton Sunday and funeral services were held at Prairie City Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Walker and family resided near Monroe at one time.
