Services Held
Gail Sheeler Visser, 92, a longtime resident of the Monroe community, died Sunday, February 28, 1993, at Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Walters Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.
The Rev. John Moorlach, pastor of the Reasnor United Methodist Church, conducted services.
Burial was in Gifford Cemetery, east of Monroe.
Surviving is a sister, Gladys Berkenbosch of Reasnor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry, in 1929, and a brother, Howard W. Sheeler.
Mrs. Visser was a member of the Tool’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Howard “Dick” and Mary Bigley Sheeler, she was born March 20, 1901 east of Monroe.
She was married to Henry Visser July 24, 1923 at Reasnor.
