Services Held
Earl Raymond Simbro died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1984 at Embassy Manor in Newton.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 31 at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.
Elder Arthur Nichols conducted services. Burial was in Dunreath Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Bessie; two sons, Clifford of Newton and Bernard of Reasnor; a daughter, Coral Lee Marshall of Monroe; 12 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
The son of James and Mae McDaniel Simbro, he was born Feb. 5, 1902 near Percy in Marion County.
He was married to Bessie Wagner Oct. 22, 1928 in Runnells.
