Funeral services for Kathy Sue Shultz, 22, of Monroe, who was killed in a car-motorcycle accident Thursday, were held Saturday afternoon at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Monroe.
Elder Arthur Nichols, pastor of the church conducted the services with burial in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Survivors are a son, Bret Michael Shultz, 4, of Monroe; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Shultz, three brothers, Ernest of Monroe and Garry and Larry both of Newton, two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Marshall of Fairfield and Mrs. Richard (Carolyn) Benning of Newton.
The daughter of Edward S. and Mildred Carroll Layton Shultz, she was born Oct. 29, 1954 in Knoxville and was a 1971 graduate of New Monroe Community High School.
