Life Story of Algie Sheeler
Funeral services for Algie Sheeler, 78, a lifelong resident of the Monroe community, were held Saturday at Crumpacker Funeral Home in Monroe.
The Rev. Warren McFate, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Monroe, conducted the services. Burial was in Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
Surviving is a sister, Bessie Sheeler of Monroe.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Ralph, Fred, Frank, George and Harry Sheeler.
The daughter of France and Mary Riglout Sheeler, she was born May 13, 1892, in Marion County.
Miss Sheeler died Wednesday evening at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
