Mrs. Sellers Rites to be Friday in Monroe
Monroe – Funeral services for Mrs. Dolly Sellers, 73, who died early Wednesday morning in Mt. Pleasant, Ia., will be held at two o’clock Friday in the H. Bogaard Funeral home in Monroe. The Rev. J. Lynn Pace of Monroe will officiate and interment will be in the Monroe cemetery.
Wife of the late J. A. Sellers, who preceded her in death in February 1944. Mrs. Sellers was born in Marion county, in the northern part of which she had spent practically her entire life.
Surviving are three children: a daughter, Mrs. John Waddle of Knoxville; and two sons, George, also of Knoxville and Harold, of Monroe. Other survivors include 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Koder, Mrs. Mary Clevenger, and Mrs. Janet Thomison, all of Monroe; and two brothers, Clyde Wilson of Monroe and William Wilson of Bondurant, Ia.
