Services to be Held
Services for Harold “Uri” Sellers of Monroe will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Monroe First Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Gander, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Monroe and Rev. Marvin Potter will be officiating the services. Interment will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
“Uri” died Sunday, April 20, 1997, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Memorials to the Uri Sellers Memorial Fund may be left at the Walters Coburn Funeral Home.
Uri is survived by his father William Sellers of Monroe and his special friend Mary Dearinger; one brother, Caleb Sellers of Monroe; grandparents Duane and Wilma Sellers of Apache Junction, Arizona, and great grandmother, Mabel Sellers of Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Harold Sellers.
Born November 24, 1977, in Russellville, Arkansas, Uri was a 1996 graduate of PCM High School. He was currently a student at Des Moines Area College and was employed part-time at W. P. Barber Lumber Co. in Monroe.
