Life Story of Glen Schrader
Glen Schrader, 60, of Monroe, died Saturday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery south of Prairie City.
Survivors are four brothers, Tommie of Monroe, Robert of Knoxville, Delbert of Monroe and Roy of Monroe; and two sisters, Mrs. Vern (Cynthia) Hevlin of Knoxville and Mrs. Hugh (Lizzie) Holmes of Mission, S.D.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.
Mr. Schrader was a veteran of World War II, having served in France and Germany.
The son of Thomas A. and Martha McDaniel Schrader, he was born in January 1911 near Monroe.
