Life Story of Golden Schrader
Mrs. Roy (Golden) Schrader, 65, of rural Monroe, passed away April 15 at Iowa Methodist Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Schrader will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, (today) at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Clifford C. Knight, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Dunreath Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Garden Chapel in Monroe until 12:00 noon Thursday.
Survivors include her husband, Roy; a daughter, Mrs. Frank C (Virginia) St. John of Lusk, Wyoming; two grandchildren, Lori and Michael St. John; two brothers, Louis King of Osceola and K. Wayne King of Osceola; and two sisters, Mrs. Willard (Mildred) Wright of Osceola and Zona of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Pete Grimes in 1949.
The daughter of Pearl D. and Rosalie (Kline) King, Mrs. Schrader was born April 1, 1908, in Clark County.
She was married to Roy Schrader March 24, 1956 in Pella.
