Services Held
Funeral services for Grace Schnug, 80, were held Monday, April 25, 1988 at the Monroe United Methodist Church.
Rev. Jerry McGee, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Hewitt Cemetery near Reasnor.
She died Friday, April 22, 1988 at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
Survivors are two daughters, Virginia (Mrs. Dean) Woody of Monroe and Sherril (Mrs. Monte) Oldham of Monroe; a son, Robert of Monroe; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a brother, Doward Terpstra of Monroe and three sisters, Sybil (Mrs. Harold) Schnug of Galesburg, Freda (Mrs. Henry) Kolenbrander of Pella and Dorothy Kaufman of San Diego, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a great grandchild.
The daughter of Albert and Henrietta Bentema Terpstra, she was born Jan. 5, 1908 near Galesburg.
She was married to Eldred Schnug April 21, 1934 in Killduff.
