Tina Lavonne Samson, 18, of Pella died Monday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church in Pella, of which she was a member. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Miss Samson was born in Newton and was a 1994 graduate of Pella Public High School.’
Survivors include her parents, Jim and Betty Samson of Pella; three sisters, Teresa Samson, Tami Samson and Tiffani Samson, and two brothers, Jonathan and James, all at home; her grandparents, Robert and Lela Bennett and Art and Kathryn Samson; and her great-grandmother, Margaret Samson, all of Reasnor.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Pella Community Day Care Center or the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Arrangements are being handled by Van Dyk-Duven funeral Home in Pella.
