Theodore F. Pope died at his residenbce in Colfax, on Tuesday, February 22nd, 1881, at 10 P. M., aged 37 years, 4 months 25 days.

beside his faithful and loving wife, Mr. Pope leaves two daughters, Carie, aged 10, and Julie, aged 7, who, in their deep affliction have the sympathy of our community. ~ The Newton Journal, Newton, Iowa Thurs 3 Mar 1881.
