Former Resident Dies at Home in Marshalltown
J. M. Alexander whose death occurred at his late home in Marshalltown the latter part of the week, was formerly a resident of this county and quite prominent in political circles.
When residing on a farm near Mingo some fifteen years ago, Mr. Alexander was appointed supervisor in place of William Deutsch, who resigned, and after serving a short time, Mr. Alexander was forced by ill health to give up the office.
Mr. Alexander removed from this county many years ago, but he is still remembered as a goodly man by the older inhabitants.
