Services Held
Funeral services for Herb F. Rucker, 65, of Lambs Grove were held Saturday, June 7, at the First Christian church.
The Rev. Ray Barnett, pastor of the church, conducted services.
He died in a bicycle-automobile accident two miles west of Iowa 14 on county road F-36 Wednesday, June 4, 1986.
Survivors are his wife, Roseva; two daughters, Diane (Mrs. Don) Dafflitto of Newton and Patricia (Mrs. David) Heineman of Des Moines; four grandchildren; a sister, Lelah (Mrs. Robert) Main of Newton; and his mother, Elizabeth (Mrs. Lee) Rucker of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee; and two brothers, Kelly and Carroll.
The son of Lee R. and Elizabeth Keller Rucker, he was born Feb. 11, 1921 in Newton. He was married to Roseva Shaver Jan. 11, 1942 in Newton.
