Monroe Man Dies Friday
Funeral Services for William Roush to be Held Tomorrow Afternoon
Monroe, Iowa, January 17 – William Roush, 47, died here Friday afternoon after a four weeks illness suffering from influenza and heart trouble.
Mr. Roush has been an invalid for years but was not in a critical condition until influenza developed.
He had lived in and near Monroe all of his life.
Besides his mother with whom he has made his home he leaves his four sisters, Mrs. Besse VerHuel, Mrs. Anna Hashner, Mrs. Lucy Hagen and Mrs. Pearl DeYoung, of Nebraska; and his three brothers, Roscoe Roush of Rockwell City; Tom Roush of Newton; and Elmer Roush, of Newton.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Baptist church.
Burial will be made in the Monroe cemetery.
