Life Story of Nola Roush
Services for Mrs. Robert (Nola) Roush, 93, lifelong resident of Jasper County, was Friday at First Baptist Church in Monroe. Burial was in Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Worth Roush of Glendale, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Della Wilson of Newton; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
A member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe, Mrs. Roush was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and Women’s Relief Corps.
The daughter of Samuel and Anna Worth, she was born August 27, 1876, west of Monroe and resided in the Monroe area until 1966 when she moved to Newton.
Mrs. Roush died Thursday at The Rest Haven.
