Life Story of Donald Robison
Funeral services for Donald Robert Robison, 28, a resident of Cedar Falls for the past 2 ½ years, were held Wednesday morning at the United Methodist Church in Prairie City.
The Rev. James Sheckler, minister of the church, and the Rev. John Porter, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church in Monroe, officiated. Burial was in Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Mr. Robison were Robert W. Berry, Bernard Reeves, Jerry Sandin, Dr. James Walker, Brian Wilson, and Dr. Raymond Woody.
Surviving are his widow, Jane Eleanor; a son, Todd Shawn; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Robison of Monroe; and a brother, Duane Robison of Monroe.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Delmar, killed in an accident four years ago.
Born December 30, 1941 in Monroe, he was the son of Robert and Effie Vander Schel Robison.
He was a 1960 graduate of New Monroe High School and attended Iowa State University at Ames for 2 ½ years before moving to Cedar Falls where he attended the University of Northern Iowa and was graduated May 28.
He was married to Jane Eleanor Thompson August 30, 1963, at Prairie City.
He was a member of the Northminister Presbyterian Church in Ames.
