Carol Rexroat, age 52 of Des Moines, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of Des Moines. Memorial graveside services for Ms. Rexroat were held on Monday June 16, 2008, at Silent City Cemetery of Monroe. Memorials may be given to the Des Moines Easter Seals and online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.
The daughter of Dave and Mary (Birkenholtz) Rexroat Sr., Carol was born on December 5, 1955, in Monroe. Carol was a graduate of Monroe High School, class of 1975. She lived in Des Moines.
Survivors are one brother and four sisters. They are Charlene McCoy of Newton, Joann Acklin of Monroe, Dave Rexroat and his wife Dorothy of Monroe, Janet Taylor and her husband Gary of Lena, Illinois, and Donna Rexroat of Monroe. Those also left to honor her memory are eight nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carolyn Suplee and two brothers-in-law: Gary Suplee and Kenny Acklin.
