Life Story of Jennie Renaud
Services were held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines for Mrs. Jennie Renaud, 89. She passed away September 1 at a Des Moines Rest Home.
Attending the services were her sister, Mrs. Minnie Int Veldt, two nephews, Will and John Den Otter, and a niece, Mrs. Sarah Masters.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Van Den Baard, formerly of Monroe.
She is survived by two sons, Clair and Leslie, a brother, John Van Den Baard of Otley, and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Rickabaugh of Pella, 3 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was born near Pella and spent her earlier life in Lynnville, Sully, Reasnor and 40 years in Des Moines.
Her nephew, Lyle Anderson, sang “How Great Thou Art,” Rev. A. M. Veltman, Baptist minister, officiated.
Pallbearers were Cornelius Den Otter, John Den Otter, Bert Den Otter, Will Den Otter, Paul Renaud and Thomas Person.
