Services Held
Carolyn Fay Moore Repp, 49, of Monroe, passed away of cancer Wednesday, February 23, 2003, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Mike Foster in Monroe. Family visitation was Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with the funeral being Saturday, February 15, 2003, at Schmidt Funeral Home in Centerville. Burial was at Union Chapel Cemetery in Albia.
She formerly worked in Quality Control at Wells Mfg. in Centerville, then became an avid quilter and homemaker. She attended school in Monroe and continued her education at Centerville Community College.
Carolyn was born December 7, 1953, in Des Moines, the daughter of Faye A. Moore and Dwight E. Repp.
She is survived by three children, Jeffery D. Hill, Julie D. VanderVorst and Jessica D. Cunningham. Other survivors are her mother, Faye A. Moore, several brothers and sisters, including Dennie E. Moore, Doris J. Abbot, Elsie I. Foster, Evelyn D. Lamb, Orville L. Moore, Lori Rote, Brian, Kevin and Brad Hunt, Mindy, Connie, and Pauline Repp. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive as well as four very special grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Ver Heul, her step-father, Elbert R. Moore, her father, Dwight E. Repp, her grandmother Ruby E. Henze, and her significant other, Trevor Thomas.
Memorials in her name may be left at Schmidt Funeral Home at 501 N. 18th St., Centerville, IA.
