Services Held for Carl Rees
Carl Rees, 64, a retired salesman and former Chief of Police of Knoxville, died at his home on July 29. Funeral services were held August 1 from Evans Arlington Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Lena Rees of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Marjory Andrews, Mrs. Claudean Avon and Mrs. Nancy Cooney of Knoxville; four sons, Robert, Tom and Paul, of Knoxville and Richard of San Diego, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
